Garden Party

12:02 PM

Good morning everyone! Glad to be back to share another outfit with y'all! I've been having a really busy summer...lots of concerts, volunteering and preparation for school! I've actually moved to a new school where I will have the opportunity to receive an associate degree by the time I finish high school (which is very exciting)! It's been a very blessed summer, but I must say- I'm ready for school to start! Anywho, here's an outfit I wore to a garden party I attended last weekend.

My sister and I enjoyed having a photo-shoot with all the beautiful props from the party. It was vintage themed (more pictures coming later in the post...) with adorable little umbrellas and lanterns.

Oregon has been through a drought this summer....I think we hit a record of days without rain. (As a rain lover, I was pretty sad 'bout that)..consequently though, we've seen many forest fires. This particular day, the smoke was so heavy from the fires you couldn't even see the sky, and the sun actually looked red from all the smoke!

dress: Loft
blazer: Macy's
shoes: gift

Here are some pictures from the party...

It was a beautiful evening...I had so much fun spending time with close family members and friends!
Well...I think that's about it for today! How has this summer treated y'all? I'd love to know what you all did!

And Jesus answered them, “Have faith in God. Truly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will come to pass, it will be done for him. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. ~Mark 11:22-24

It is too bad about the smoke. :( We've had quite a bit here, but it's finally cleared up. Hopefully rain is coming.
